The Spring Feasts Fulfilled!

Now after the Shabbath (after Saturday would have been Sunday), toward the dawn on one of the shabathoth (Firstfruits), Miryam (Mary) from Magdala and the other Miryam came to see the tomb.
In seeing the tomb stone rolled away and the tomb empty, they encountered a messenger (angel).
And the messenger said to the woman, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Yahshua who was impaled. He is not here, for He was raised, as He said ... Go quickly, say to His talmidim (disciples) that He was raised from the dead."
As rehearsed for thousands of years by the Jews, the ritual of first-fruits, at the time of the barley harvest, taught about the resurrection of Messiah.
"'When you come into the land which I give you, and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first-fruits of your harvest to the kohen (priest). And he shall wave the sheaf before YHWH, for your acceptance. On the morrow (day after) the Shabbath the kohen waves it.'"
At this point, I think it must be understood that to YHWH, the earth is one big harvest field. He is in the process of harvesting a good barley crop for Himself to fill up the shamayim (heaven). A teaching on the Biblical harvest cycles is not my focus here, but in short, the barley crop are those who belong to Messiah and will soon be be resurrected and raptured. The wheat crop are those who come to believe after the rapture within the 7 year Tribulation period. The final crop are (as you have most likley heard) the grapes of wrath. These unfortunate souls are unbelievers who are gathered, trampled and destroyed at the final battle of Armageddon.
Everyone - including you, the reader - is part of a crop whether it be barley, wheat or grapes. Which crop you are a part of is your choice. Accept Messiah as your Savior before the rapture, after the rapture or not at all. No pressure.
The apostle Paul connected the Appointed Time of Firstfruits with Yahshua's resurrection by saying:
"But now Mashiah has been raised from the dead, and has become the first-fruit of those having fallen asleep."
1 Corinthians 15:20
The writer of Acts states:
That ha'Mashiah (the Messiah) would suffer, would be the first to rise from the dead, He would proclaim light to the people and to the gentiles.
The ritual shown to us in Leviticus 23 of a sheaf of the first-fruits of the barley crop being brought to a priest to be waved before YHWH was a pledge that the rest of the harvest would be realized once it was ripe for harvest. Yahshua is the first fruits of the first resurrection which later includes the rapture of believers as the rest of the barley harvest.
On the very morning the Jews were reaping the first-fruits of their barley harvests to take to the Temple kohen, Yahshua raised from the dead as the First Fruits of the resurrection.
On the way back to tell the talmidim that Yahshua had been raised from the dead, Miryam saw Yahshua!
And having risen in the morning on one of the shabbathoth (Firstfruits), He appeared first to Miryam from Magdala ...
And as they were going to report to His talmidim, see, Yahshua met them saying "Greetings!" And they held Him by the feet and bowed to Him.
And Yahshua said to her, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father. But go to My brothers and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to my Elohim and your Elohim.'"
Why did Yahshua have to ascend to His Father before appearing to His talmidim? Because He is both the First Fruits AND the Great Kohen, the High Priest. The High Priest of high priests!
Therefore, since we have a Great Kohen ha'Gadol who has passed through the shamayim (ascended to heaven), Yahshua the Son of YHWH, let us hold fast our confession.
At the very time when the high priest was waving the first-fruits of the barley harvest which the Jews brought to him for a blessing on the rest of their crops, Yahshua, the Great High Priest ascended to the shamayim as the First Fruits of the resurrection to show Himself before YHWH.
